The Nokia N86 has received a very welcome update to the v20.115 firmware that brings loads of improvements and adds face detection to the N86’s already impressive camera performance. The update is available both via the NSU and also over the air (OTA) in the form of a 7.5 MB download. It is possible that the firmware is not yet available for your product code, so you should keep checking if you do not see it now.

The update also brings improvements to the phone’s speed, there is now more free RAM (65 MB on bootup) and free internal storage has also risen to 70 MB with a clean install. Apart from that the Ovi Store client is now preloaded and Ovi Chat has got a homescreen shortcut.
