In keeping with our Get N-Gage’d India series, we’re going to kick things off with Clinton Jeff from ZOMGitsCj.com.

Clinton dropped by his local Nokia Store in Mumbai, and bought an N-Gage voucher. A quick and easy process, he says it didnt take him too long before he was gaming on his N-Gage compatible device.

While I was on my way to Kuwait, I had a brief lay-over in Mumbai. With nothing much to do, and being the total Nokia Fanboy that I am, I figured I might as well check out the Nokia Concept Store there. As Aatif already talked about the new store, I wont go into much detail about the place or staff again, but I did manage to check out the new N-Gage voucher system they have going on in India.

I basically walked into the store and said “N-Gage!” to the salesman, who took me over to their N-Gage section. I asked them about purchasing a voucher and that sort of thing. It’s actually a pretty easy setup they have here. You choose your game, and the denomination you’d like to buy. You can get them for as low as Rs 49 for a day trial, to Rs 229 for the full thing (depending on the price of the game).

I choose to get Prince of Persia on the Red E75 I’m carrying around. I figured it’d be worth the entertainment for my flight to Kuwait. You basically pay them, and get a receipt with your activation code for your game on it, and use that activation code to go ahead and activate your N-Gage game on your device.

The whole process is pretty seamless. Buying N-gage games couldnt be easier at this point. I’m glad Nokia India has finally realised not everybody in the country has a credit card, and that you can buy it using good old fashioned hard cash.

Other than that, I have to say, Nokia India’s done a great job making this an easy painless process. Just step into a Nokia Store, buy your voucher, walk out.

Its a heck of a lot better than say, a couple years ago when I literally had to plead with Nokia Stores to get N-Gage games over.

You can even purchase N-Gage titles in India using other modes such as from Oxicash online, via SMS and WAP as posted by us earlier.
