You dont need to stick to only local video with your Nseries device, you can also view flash content online too, like YouTube.

There are two main ways to view Youtube videos on your Nseries device.

One is by going to YouTube.com using your device’s inbuilt browser.

This gives you the same effect as viewing them on your PC, and the same quality too.

But the more convenient way, and our second method, is by using the official YouTube application on your S60 device.

Since this is the official YouTube app for s60 by google, you know it works very well. You can view almost any YouTube video anytime anywhere using this app, as long as you have a fast enough network data connection.

To Download the update, head on over to m.YouTube.com from your Phone Browser. You should see a link at the bottom saying “Download the YouTube Application” if your Device is compatible.

The App is officially only compatible with S60 V3 devices (Eg: N95, N96, N82, N85,etc) only, but the app apparently works (albeit not very well) on S60 V5 Touch devices like the Nokia 5800. An official list of supported devices can be found here.
