When you are waiting for a device, there’s no better way to while the time away other than watching promo videos of it in action. So here’s another one.
We’ve not seen a unboxing video of the N97 as yet, but its already been taken apart, literally. Click to watch the N97 being disassembled. Needless to say, do NOT try this at home!
There are just two days left for June to arrive and with June comes the much awaited Nokia N97. There has quite a lot been happening around the N97 in the last few days, so here is a summary to get you upto speed.
For 1000 people living in any of the following cities, Nokia India will bring the N97 to their house or office for an exclusive preview, that too before its launch. So consider yourself lucky if you are living in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Ahmedabad or Pune.
Meanwhile, we have found screenshots of N-Gage running on the N97. So it seems we’ll see production N97’s come with N-Gage out of the box with a lot many titles available to play. Great news for the gamers amongst you.
The N97 was previewed in Singapore and Lester Chan has brought us this coverage from the event. There are pictures of the N97 (one showcasing its beautiful keypad with white and blue backlights) and videos as well.
The ‘Search For The N‘ has started around the world, India will also be getting in on the action soon. So hold on for that.
The N97 is expected to hit India by June 26th, but you can already pre-book your N97 now.
Bounce Boing Voyage on N-Gage has now been updated with Accelerometer-based Motion Tilt controls. Of course if you already have bought the game and redownload it, its a free upgrade.
The game weighs in at a 5MB download, that goes up to 13MB on installation.
As promised, here is a video demonstrating the things that I like about the Nokia E75. If you feel as if I’ve missed something, let us know in the comments section.
We’ve landed the spanking new red Nokia E75 and will be bringing you loads of content on that front. To kick start things, here is an overview of the Nokia E75, with special reference to its phenomenal build quality. If you can’t get enough of the E75, we also have an image gallery below.
You dont need to stick to only local video with your Nseries device, you can also view flash content online too, like YouTube.
There are two main ways to view Youtube videos on your Nseries device.
One is by going to YouTube.com using your device’s inbuilt browser.
This gives you the same effect as viewing them on your PC, and the same quality too.
But the more convenient way, and our second method, is by using the official YouTube application on your S60 device.
Since this is the official YouTube app for s60 by google, you know it works very well. You can view almost any YouTube video anytime anywhere using this app, as long as you have a fast enough network data connection.
To Download the update, head on over to m.YouTube.com from your Phone Browser. You should see a link at the bottom saying “Download the YouTube Application” if your Device is compatible.
The App is officially only compatible with S60 V3 devices (Eg: N95, N96, N82, N85,etc) only, but the app apparently works (albeit not very well) on S60 V5 Touch devices like the Nokia 5800. An official list of supported devices can be found here.
However, here’s a short list of Things to keep in mind :
- Once you optimise your movies, you can get it on your device via Bluetooth or USB. You can place it in any folder that you wish, or create a new one. Nseries devices can detect them wherever you place your videos.
- Remember, you can only store as many videos as your memory card has space for them. So check the size of your videos and make sure you have enough free space on your memory card (usually called microSD in the last couple of Nseries devices).
- Watching videos using your phone’s loudspeaker is okay, but you save more battery and get better sound quality when you use your headphones, so try that out whenever you can.
- Remember, with the newer set of Nseries devices, you can stop watching a video at any moment, and resume from where you left off later if you wish.
