Age of Empires ® III – N-Gage represents an evolutionary step from the previous installments in the acclaimed series. The focus of events shortly predates the campaign of the PC version, chronicling the events leading up to the first mission. As the player defeat enemy units and buildings, they will be awarded with experience points. Experience points can be used in conjunction with support cards to summon reinforcements and resources from the player’s home city. New support cards are awarded for completing battles. With each victory the player will be presented with an achievement breakdown, which is recorded to the player’s profile and compared with other players on mobile and online.
To download the game, navigate to the Showroom Tab in the N-Gage application in your Nokia device, select “Option” and then “Update now“. After doing that, you should see it listed in the showroom.
Or download it from the N-Gage Web showroom.
(Note: The game seems to only be available in the Device Showroom for now though, at the time of this post.)
India’s third largest mobile company in terms of subscribers, has tied up with Finnish cellphone major Nokia for bundling 3G
handsets along with its services.
A senior BSNL official told PTI that the PSU has tied up with Nokia to supply handsets for its 3G subscribers.
Nokia India Head, Operator Channels, V Ramnath said “Nokia India has partnered BSNL in bringing to Indian consumers 3G services on a host of Nokia devices.”
Nokia has blessed the new E75 with iSync support making it easy for mac owners to keep their handset and computer data in sync. Unlike windows, the Mac operating system does not have a ‘PC Suite’ as such but programs from Nokia like the iSync and Nokia Multimedia Transfer allow you to basically duplicate the same functionality.
iSync makes keeping on top of your calendar easy by ensuring that the meetings and appointments you enter into Nokia mobile phone calendar are also transferred to iCal, Apple’s handy desktop calendar. With iSync you can also keep your contacts up-to-date by transferring contact information to and from your Mac, including phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, web addresses, and best of all, photos of your friends, family, and colleagues.
A couple of days ago Nokia Conversations published a video of Nokia’s entire phone collection(almost). Right from the first ‘portable’ GSM device released in 1992 to the first S60, the 7650 (one of my absolute favourites) to the more recent ones. Most of us would be able to identify the phones Nokia has made in the last 3-5 years but if you think of yourself as a true Nokia fanboy, this is where you get to test your knowledge! (The video pans over the entire range at the end of the video).
The Nokia N97 is one tempting device and when I see one in black, I seem to want it even more. The wait since its announcement has been painful, but we now have confirmation that the N97 will indeed hit the wild in June. Two months to go.
Here’s what Charlie at Nokia Conversations had to say:
I checked yesterday with whose who know and the N97 is on track to be released into the wild in June. That was June. In case you didn’t read that, I said the N97 will be available in June (and if it isn’t, I’m going to kick someone’s butt).
Meanwhile, check out the above N97 preview in HD to help you tide over this time.
