This is the first video is a series which would look at different aspects on the 5800 Xpress Music. Shortcuts make our like easy, even more so on a touch only device, so today we have look at some of the apparent and the hidden shortcuts on the 5800 Xpress Music.

One criticism the device has had to face is the lack of shortcuts on the standby screen, however with a little bit of tweaking we can have as many as 26 easily accessible shortcuts within a maximum of two keypresses, this is in addition to the menu. By the end of the video I’m sure you’ll agree it isn’t as much of a problem as it is made out to be!

[digg-me]The Nokia E71 has just received a major firmware update that takes its current firmware to v200.21.118 from v110.07.127. The update brings two new themes – black and red, WLAN stability improvements, better power management for keep-alive style messaging applications, an update to the Switch application, stability improvements in the Browser, Music Player, Maps and the Camera amongst other things.
