For all you Ovi users, this means you wont have to use a different username and account for Ovi.com and Share on Ovi. In the coming weeks, it’ll be set so you’ll just have to use your Ovi.com account to log in.
As part of improving your experience with Share on Ovi we will be merging our sign in system with Ovi.com
In order for your Share on Ovi and Ovi by Nokia accounts to be merged, they must both contain the same verified email address or mobile number. Please ensure that your primary contact point is verified in both accounts by following these steps.
1. To verify your Share on Ovi contact point, sign in to share.ovi.com
Click the “Edit profile” link in the top right of the page.
Click the “Account” tab.
Click “Resend confirmation message” if it appears on this page.
2. To verify your Ovi by Nokia contact point, sign in to ovi.com
Click the “Account” link in the top right of the page.
Click the green “Verify” link if it appears on this page.
3. Be sure to respond to the SMS or email messages sent from each system to complete the verifications. in the coming weeks. To ensure your account migrates correctly you will need to follow these instructions immediately.
That’s it. In the coming weeks we will automatically migrate your Share account and all of its data to your Ovi by Nokia account. We will notify you when that is complete.
