When Nokia announced its plans to step into services, the usual impression was, what more can they offer beyond a music store, gaming store, maps etc. It’s gone a long way from there.
Recently, Nokia announced updates on Ovi as posted on All About Symbian.
Basically, an Ovi suite, a PC software that allows media management and phone sync. An online file storage and remote access to PC files, and Ovi Sync - a service which syncs contacts, calendar events and notes to Ovi.com.
The new icons that are expected to come on the OVi site over the next couple of weeks.

This is how OVi site looks now.

The new OVi look
OVi Suite enables you to sync between your PC and Nokia phone. This is an evolved version of what you have been seeing with Nokia’s standard PC Suite.

Files on OVi allows you to access your files stored in your PC from your Nokia phone. Because of its online storage feature, you can access files on your PC even when it is switched off. The files can be automatically synced on an online server. Files on OVi terms such files as Anytime Files.
